Objectives

To develop the theoretical basis of the biomolecular design of a portable, effective, cheap, and reliable microfluidic device that would allow the identification of CTX-M-15-containg bacteria.

• To research about antibiotic resistance and microfluidics to guarantee a trustworthy and scientifically-based framework.
• To elaborate a detailed proposal of the design of a portable microfluidic device that is able to display a visual signalization in the presence of CTX-M-15-containg bacteria.
